Tzaneen - Two people died and four others were seriously injured when the car they were travelling in left the road and crashed into a tree along the R36 in Tzaneen, Limpopo on Saturday morning, paramedics said.
 
Paramedics from ER24 and local services arrived on the scene at about 7.30am where they found four people had been ejected from the car, ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.

"Two of the ejected occupants sustained fatal injuries and were declared dead. Four others were treated for various serious injuries and later rushed to a nearby hospital."
 
The circumstances surrounding the accident were not yet known, but it appeared that the car crashed into a tree on the centre median, he said.
