Pretoria - More relatives of former president Nelson Mandela arrived at the Mediclinic Heart Hospital in Pretoria on Wednesday to visit him.

His daughter Zindzi Mandela and granddaughter Tukwini Mandela drove in to the facility shortly after 11am.

They were accompanied by two other relatives.

Minutes earlier, Madiba's daughter Makaziwe Mandela arrived at the hospital.

She left shortly after the arrival of the other Mandelas.

The former statesman's wife Graca Machel left the hospital earlier in the morning.

She was scheduled to also visit in the afternoon, along with a group of senior church leaders.

Mandela has been in hospital for almost two months.

He was hospitalised with a recurring lung infection on June 8.

The presidency reported last week that the 95-year-old global icon remained in a critical but stable condition.
