Secunda - The driver of a VW Polo was killed in a head-on collision on Graceland Road in Secunda in Mpumalanga on Friday night, paramedics said.
At about 11pm, ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the driver, a man believed to be in his 20s, was killed in a collision with a bakkie, ER24 spokeswoman Annine Siddall said on Saturday.
"Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do to save the man and he was declared dead on the scene. The driver of the bakkie, a man believed to be in his 40s, sustained minor injuries and he was transported to Mediclinic Highveld for further medical care. Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations," she said.
