Johannesburg - A mother and her baby, suspected to be around three-years-old, died in an accident involving a car and a truck on the N4 outside Middelburg, Mpumalanga on Saturday, paramedics said.
A man was critically injured in the collision, said ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak.
“Paramedics that arrived on the scene found the Nissan Sentra torn into two pieces with three occupants lying in the middle of the road,” said Vermaak.
The injured man was treated on the scene and transported to a nearby hospital. - Sapa
