Klerksdorp - A truck driver and his passenger were left injured after their truck fell off a bridge in the North West, paramedics said on Thursday.
The accident took place in Klerksdorp on the Tirisano road at around 11:40am on Thursday morning.
ER24 spokesperson Annine Siddall said paramedics arrived at the scene to find fire and rescue personnel trying to free the two men from the overturned truck.
"The truck driver, believed to be in his 30s, [was] in a critical condition while the passenger, also believed to be in his 30s, had sustained moderate injuries.
"They were later treated and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care."
Sidall added that local authorities were also on the scene to conduct further investigation into the incident.
