Mahikeng - The trial against two men accused of killing North West school teacher Thulisile Ngwenya continues at North West High Court on Tuesday.

Headman Njokweni, 61, and Sifiso Ndawonde, 56, are both accused of kidnapping, robbing, raping, and murdering school teacher Thulisile Ngwenya in October 2017.

Ngwenya, 56, a teacher at Lekoko Primary School, located outside Mahikeng, was reported missing on 22 October - a day after she was known to have visited a local bank.

On Monday, Warrant Officer Molefe Tsatsi told the court that the decaying body of Ngwenya was found naked from the waist down, with ants in her nose and genitals.

The accused were arrested in Johannesburg after detectives traced and recovered Ngwenya's cellphone.
