Johannesburg - It was rare that any country in the world was blessed with such a great leader as former president Nelson Mandela, Continental Outdoor Media said on Friday.
Mandela was an inspiration to the entire global community, executive chairman Barry Sayer said in a statement.
“What a tragic outcome might have befallen us in South Africa had we not enjoyed Madiba's grace and his calm hand on the tiller as we navigated the turbulent waters of transition.”
It was important to remember Mandela's message of unity for South Africa and for the country to come together in this time of grief in a spirit of Ubuntu.
The company said it was deeply saddened by Mandela's death and sent its condolences and sympathies to his family, and to South Africa as a whole.
