Two men survived after their helicopter crashed into a veld near Ventersdorp on Saturday, paramedics said.
The men were treated for superficial wounds and bruises, Netcare 911 spokesman Jeffrey Wicks said.
He said paramedics arrived at the scene to find the damaged helicopter in the veld after the pilot affected an emergency landing.
Both men were taken to a private medical facility in Klerksdorp for further treatment. - Sapa
