Funderland expo opens at GrandWest in Cape Town

JOHANNESBURG - Funderland, South Africa’s biggest non-stop fun-filled festival and expo, opens Wednesday at the GrandWest in Cape Town.  

Organisers said fun activities will run for 11 days, until 7 April, this unique concept is designed especially to entertain the entire family, and will travel from the Western Cape, up to Gauteng, the Free State and then finally, Kwa-Zulu Natal over the following months during the school holidays.

Funderland will feature more than 20 themed fun and activity zones, live stage acts showcasing live music, comedy, dancing and circus action.  

The country’s biggest talent search and competition; the Funderland Talent Competition and the Mzansi Music Talent Search is also part of the fun.

Heidi Croxford, Head of Marketing for Funderland said: “At Funderland we truly believe in the power of ‘families who play together, stay together’ and have thus ensured that there are loads of opportunities for Moms and Dads to play with their kids too”.

She added that “Funderland has been designed to be interactive, full of imaginative, experience driven activities and will become the most sought after playground in Africa.”
