Cape Town - South Africans may experience another round of power cuts on Wednesday as Eskom warned the risk of loadshedding remained high for the morning peak.

Eskom was forced to implement rotational loadshedding to deal with power constraints brought on by wildcat strikes by employees which disrupted operations at some power plants.

"Customers are advised to keep checking their load shedding schedules on the Eskom and their municipal website, and plan on the assumption that load shedding will take place," the state-owned power utility said in a statement on Tuesday night.
