George - A man, believed to be 59 years old, has died after collapsing while jogging close to Arbour Road in George in the Western Cape on Saturday morning, paramedics said.
ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene at about 8.20am and found the man was unresponsive, ER24 spokeswoman Annine Siddall said.
Paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the man for about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, there was nothing more paramedics could do to help and he was later declared dead on the scene, she said.
