Cape Town - The #UCTShutdown continued on Tuesday morning following a protest against a proposed increase in fees that started at the university on Monday.

Police arrested some of the students who burnt tyres and barricaded entrances to the campus on Tuesday morning.

The action at UCT forms part of the #FeesMustFall movement that has gripped the country following protests that started at Wits University last week.

On Twitter there are, of course, those who support the protest and those who do not.
