Cape Town - Two suspects have been arrested for killing a Golden Arrow bus driver last weekend. The bus driver was shot and fatally wounded during a robbery in Zwelitsha, Nyanga.

The bus subsequently ploughed through two houses.

 

According to police, the suspects were apprehended during a tracing operation in the early hours of Friday morning.

One suspect was apprehended while walking in Browns Farm, while the second was arrested at his home. The suspects are from Old Location and New Crossroads respectively. 

The two are expected to appear in the Athlone Magistrates’ Court on Monday to face murder charges.

A third suspect remains on the run.
