WATCH: #ScienceMustFall, says UCT 'fallist'

Cape Town - Science must fall, a woman - who appears to be a UCT student - suggested when the UCT Science Faculty met with "fallists" this week.

Science, according to the woman, is a "product of Western modernity" and should be scrapped "especially in Africa".

She went on to say that science should be written from an African perspective.

Social media had a lot to say about #ScienceMustFall.

 

1) Don't honestly think the lady meant #sciencemustfall. rather we need curriculum which is inclusive of other 'ways of knowing' ...
