Johannesburg - Two men were arrested in a stolen car on the N1 in Florida, Johannesburg police said on Thursday.
Lieutenant-Colonel Katlego Mogale said the patrolling police stopped a Silver Honda on the N1 on Wednesday.
“Police searched the car and found an unlicensed Norinco pistol.”
Mogale said the car had a false registration number and it was discovered that the car had been stolen earlier this month.
“The men face charges of possession of a suspected stolen vehicle as well as possession of an unlicensed firearm. They will soon appear in court,” Mogale said. - Sapa
