Durban - A massive explosion ripped through the Durban Christian Centre in Mayville, Durban on Tuesday night.
Firefighters and emergency services responded to the explosion and are currently battling the blaze which has engulfed the multi-million rand centre.
Eye witnesses have reported that they heard a massive explosion followed by a thick cloud of smoke.
The centre is also home to the Jesus Dome which is situated adjacent to the N3 Highway. It is one of the largest churches in Durban.
