Durban - Let's end stigma, is the message behind the SoldariTree which was worked on by 130 youth impacted by HIV/Aids in Lesotho and South Africa.

Creator Michelle Vogelzang said it was completely crowdfunded with the truck made of reclaimed foam for making surfboards from Durban.

It was taken to Lesotho where young people covered it with paper mache. The tree was then brought back to South Africa, where it was designed and painted by youth in the Pretoria township of Mamelodi.

So far an estimated 3000 messages have been added and if you are not in Durban, you can Tweet your message on ending stigma to @SolidariTree and Volgezang will write it on a ribbon for you and add it onto the tree.
