Iran’s nuclear plants have fallen victim to a bizarre cyber attack - appropriately using heavy metal music by AC/DC.

Computer hackers infiltrated the system at the country’s controversial facilities, forcing staff to listen to a loud rendition of the Australian band’s 1990 song Thunderstruck.

It is not the first time Iran’s nuclear facilities have been targeted. In 2010, they were infiltrated by a computer ‘worm’ allegedly cooked up by the US government.

The latest attack - on uranium enrichment plants at Natanz and Fordo - was revealed by Mikko Hypponen, of computer security firm F-Secure, who said he was told of it in emails from a scientist working at the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran. - Daily Mail
