Los Angeles - At least five people have been killed and two
children wounded in a shooting Tuesday near an elementary school in
northern California, according to multiple media outlets.
The shooting took place in Rancho Tehama in Tehama County, about 200
kilometres north of Sacramento, at about 8 am (1600 GMT), according
to local newspaper Record Searchlight.
The shooter is among the dead, a deputy told the paper. Officials are
investigating at least five shooting scenes, according to the
Sacramento Bee.
