Washington - US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is upbeat after being released from hospital following treatment of a blood clot and hopes to get back to work within days, the State Department said Thursday.

“She's sounding terrific, upbeat and raring to go,” spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters, adding that the 65-year-old diplomat was “looking forward to being back in the office next week.” - Sapa-AFP
