India's government has been accused of failing to protect children from sexual abuse. Human Rights Watch says abuse is rampant in schools and children's homes. Shantha Sinha from the Indian National Commission for Protection of Child Rights spoke to Al Jazeera. She said it is important for everyone, and not just the government, to uphold children's rights.
