Hollywood actor Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has met with the 10-year-old boy hailed as a hero for saving his younger brother from drowning using a technique he saw in Johnson's movie.
Jacob O’Connor came under the spotlight after reports emerged that he saved his two-year old brother, Dylan, using CPR techniques he saw in San Andreas.
This after O'Connor had found him lying face down in a pool in their grandmother's backyard.
In an interview with US TV station WXYZ, the 10-year-old explained how the incident unfolded.

"I was turning on a show when the doors were opened. I went outside and saw Dylan lying there [in the pool].
"I pulled him out and then gave him compressions."
O'Connor then went to tell his grandmother what had happened and following this, the toddler was then rushed to the hospital.
He further explained that he was able to save his brother after watching the disaster flick, which had a scene where Johnson saves another character's life.

"There was a daughter that was drowning and he had to get her out and save her using the same thing," he said.
Following this heroic event, Johnson took to Instagram to praise the young boy for his actions, and has now returned to the photo sharing site to post a number of snaps of himself meeting O'Connor n person.
He also shared a video in which he spoke to the camera about Jacob’s heroic actions, and revealed the boy had made a T-shirt with a picture of the star after he completed a similar heroic act in rescuing his two dogs from a pool.
