London - Shrien Dewani’s mansion has been attacked by vandals 24 hours after he arrived back in the UK from South Africa.

A large amount of white paint was splashed on the tarmac driveway outside the electronic gates of the £1.5 million villa in Bristol.

It appeared in the early hours of Thursday morning and Avon and Somerset police said they are “looking into it”.

Dewani, 34, was accused of arranging the honeymoon murder of his wife, Anni Hindocha, 28, in South Africa in 2010.

On Monday, a judge threw out the “flawed” criminal case.

Dewani is believed to be staying in London before he returns to his wealthy family’s home in Bristol.

The Hindocha family have threatened to sue Dewani after sordid details emerged of his secret gay life, which they claim show his marriage was a sham.
