■ The Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre is hosting a benefit concert for Liam Burden, head of the woodwinds department, on Sunday September 19, in their auditorium, Picton Street, Parow, at 4.30pm. All proceeds will go towards expenses incurred by Liam after his motorcycle accident in February.
