Khanyi Mbau is competing in Strictly Come Dancing on SABC3.

Celebrity dance competition, Strictly Come Dancing, returns to TV screens next week, with a sexy young line-up.

Presenters taking over from Marc Lottering and Pabi Moloi are Expresso presenter and singer Katlegoe Maboe and former K-TV presenter and socialite Roxy Burger.

This year’s celebrity line-up include Boity Thulo and socialite Khanyi Mbau.

Completing the 10 celebrities line-up will be singer LeAnne Dlamini, who was featured in X Factor UK, Top Billing’s Jonathan Boynton-Lee, actress Leandie du Randt, former Isidingo actor Ashish Gangapersad, rugby player John Mametsa, comedian and actor Siv Ngesi, comedian Donovan Goliath, and Janine Davies, a female motorbike racer.

The contestants, who have been rehearsing with their respective professional Latin and ballroom partners, will take to the dance floor on July 18.

The show, now in its seventh season, will be broadcast on SABC3 on Fridays at 8pm with a repeat broadcast on Saturdays at 6pm, and the results show after the 7pm news.

It will run in two-hour live weekly episode for 10 episodes.

The celebrities, who have been giving their fans a glimpse of their dance outfits in rehearsal video clips, have promised to bring fire to the dance floor.

Most of the celebrities have posted pictures on social networks, urging their supporters to vote for them when the show starts.

Because of the competitive nature of the participating celebrities and their popularity, this season has already been billed as possibly one of the best.

Rivalry is already brewing between Thulo and Mbau, who have been campaigning for voters this week.

Posting her rehearsal picture on Instagram, Thulo - who caused an uproar two months ago when she bared her bottom in the Marie Claire annual Naked Issue edition - said she was confident that she would go far in the competition.

“Yes, I’m very excited about the fabulous dancing...

“But the costumes??!! I live for those!!.” She posted on Instagram.

But most people who have seen the rehearsal videos have their money on Mbau.
