Pretoria - The Soil’s lead vocalist and composer Ntsika Ngxanga’s much anticipated first single is finally out.
Awundiva featuring Vusi Nova is exclusively available on Joox and will be available across all digital platforms from petember the 14th of this this month.
The song is about a guy who expresses his love for his woman, which is a pure music love story.
On Thursday, the Pretoria News caught up with Ngxanga prior to his song release today.
He said his single was inspired by a dream he had.
“I dream about the songs that I compose, for whichever artist (I have written for Musa, The Soil and Vusi Nova to name a few).
"In June 2017, I was sitting with my great, great grandfather talking about some songs in my dreams. This is when I realised that it is time to share the music with the world as an individual,” he said.
Ngxanga said he was optimistic the song would be received well by the public, adding that it would be the new national anthem.
“It is a song people will get married to, the song people will make babies to and it is a song that the nation will turn into their national anthem.
People will call me the young Enoch Sontonga because this is the new national anthem.
“It’s big, it’s straight from God’s hands into my mouth,” he said.
