Three wise-ish men, Vic, E and Roy, came to feast.

Their fishing spot was on the Capitec side of the riverbank.

In this river, deep below the murky waters lurks a fish that preys on tadpoles.

It is said to approve loans to delinquent tadpoles.

These tadpoles are of the low-income demographic.

All they will ever grow to be is frogs.

No "princess kiss" effect will impact their debts.

This shark boasted to be the building blocks we could bank on.

Twenty year commitments that will not feel like bondage.

Now what’s a frog to a shark?

But then again, what’s a shark to a school of piranhas?

We have the wolf without the Wall Street.

We bought into dreams sold to us in sheep skin.

This shark’s back pocket is growing from the blood and sweat we put under a mattress manned by parasites.

He has laundered our honest living through the cost he forgot to include in his transparency.

He thought we would never see him.

Stealing from us sleepwalking zombies who will never comprehend capitalism and how private corporations rig the game to stay winning.

We are just collateral in a white collar war we shouldn’t be involved in.

Bought and sold in.

Still slaves and the shackles keep changing.

Still brave with breaking backs still persisting.

Our tolerance of pain has been on the rise.

He deals himself the better hand.

But we keep gambling.

If Capitec loans are a wager,

And a wager is a rat and a bird,

Then these bats fly by night.

Like a rusted pendulum, its board members are tainted but insist on swinging.

They balance and they click with Steinhoff head and other links to PSG.

Their board is a playground for these executives.

PSG is the largest holder of shares.

But it is Steinhoff who has been proven not to play fair.

This playground on the greener side, with shiny swings, is animal friendly.

But there are too many canines.

Capitec, you have been laying with dogs. You should have gotten up to flee.

But the obvious happened, you got up with fleas.

Play far when your kind of fish is being baited with piranhas.

Acknowledge defeat in this round.

If you are innocent,

Put down the dogs bearing fleas.

Pack fire and lightning bolts for the next round.

Move in silence. And remember not to bleed in these murky waters.

Numbers have no voice boxes, and therefore lack the ability to tell a lie.

So, Lego them together and make us understand why.

Why you shouldn’t be put under curatorship?

In your position, even lasagne would say to Garfield, “I am not shook”.

The National Credit Regulator has been asked to investigate your loan book.

And how you reschedule loans.

While you are stacking Legos in the playground, remember that Sharks must swim constantly or they die.

If you can’t swim, you can’t live underwater.

You should consider building new relationships, so you can live atop of it.

Next time choose your suitor well before you flirt.

After having Steinhoff for supper, why wouldn’t Viceroy have Capitec for dessert?
