Madrid – World steeplechase champion Marta Dominguez was not among athletes questioned by a Madrid judge Sunday as part of Spain's Operation Galgo doping investigation.

Dominguez was among 14 people detained during raids across the country on Thursday. Spanish reports suggested Dominguez would testify Monday in her native Palencia.

Former European 5 000-metre champion Alberto Garcia was in court. Garcia previously served a two-year ban after a positive EPO test.

Eufemiano Fuentes, who was a key figure in Operation Puerto in 2006, was represented by his lawyer.

Spain's Civil Guard turned up steroids, blood doping products and documentation in the raids and Dominguez is reportedly suspected of being a “supplier of doping substances.” – Sapa-AP
