Johannesburg – The Highveld Lions won the toss and, after some uncertainty, decided to bowl first in their T20 Challenge match against the Titans at the Wanderers on Wednesday.

The Lions made no changes to the team that beat the Cape Cobras by nine wickets last weekend, for the repeat of last season's final, which the Titans won by 45 runs.

The Titans have seen no action thus far in the competition due to rain and will be looking to make up for a joyless four-day domestic series campaign.

Lions captain Jean Symes initially said the home team would bat first, but then corrected himself and said they would bowl.

Teams: Highveld Lions: Quinton de Kock, Gulam Bodi, Temba Bavuma, Neil McKenzie, Jean Symes, Dwaine Pretorius, Chris Morris, Sohail Tanvir, Hardus Viljoen, Aaron Phangiso, Imran Tahir.

Titans: Jacques Rudolph, Henry Davids, Martin van Jaarsveld, Farhaan Behardien, Mangaliso Mosehle, Albie Morkel, Roelof van der Merwe, David Wiese, Eden Links, Marchant de Lange, Ethy Mbhalati. – Sapa
