Hambantota - Proteas fast bowler Dale Steyn looks set to start the final one-day international in Hambantota on Saturday morning, having recovered sufficiently from the bruising on his right hand.

The opening bowler went for precautionary x-rays after being struck by a shot from Sri Lanka's Tillekeratne Dilshan, during the second match of the series on Wednesday. There were initial fears that he may have been ruled out of the series, and potentially the Test series to follow, but he took part in team training on Friday afternoon, and will take the new ball in tomorrow's decider at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium.

Play in Hambantota starts at 6:30am SA time on Saturday.
