DURBAN – Let’s move onto this weekend’s action, in the local dish its crunch for all the teams, in this shortened version of the Currie Cup. It’s the final run into the playoffs, and it’s all to play for here kids.

Tonight Cheetahs are in Bloemfontein against Pumas. Cheetahs are a saucy 18/10 and are looking for their first win.

I reckon you can back the youngsters to come right, as this may be their last chance for a solitary victory this season.

Then it’s the wounded Lions who are in town to take on the Sharks tomorrow.

For either side to get home playoffs, this becomes a must win game. Sharks are coming off a break and I believe they should win here at 6/10, even with the boost of the returning Bok players for the Lions, who are priced at 13/10.

Western Province is the current form team playing at home to Griquas. You have got to bank on Province with the bonus point, which will put them top of the log with 2 more games to come, keeping in mind that they play Sharks next weekend.

Golfing action has the finale from Atlanta going down. It is a tasty purse of a couple Million Dollars up for grabs for the winners.

I love the look of Justin Rose at 8/1, his destination is in his own hands. There is also one scientist by the name of Bryson De Chambeau at 20/1, coming in hot with it all to do, to take home all that money.

Tiger Wood's price has dropped from 14/1 to 10/1 this week, with the money pouring in for him. This weekend I see Tiger coming close again, so maybe look at him taking a place in Top 6 at 3/1.

However I fancy an outside name to take this win, so look into the likes of John Rahm 20/1, Tony Finau 16/1 or Billy Horschel 25/1 to surprise you come Sunday.

In the local diski action, my select games are Golden Arrows 13/10 at home against Chippa 5/2, Amazulu 4/1 away to Chiefs 8/10 and Celtic 1/1 versus Maritzburg 7/2. It’s hard to back the KZN sides on current form to come right this weekend but maybe look into the double chance for Maritzburg and Arrows.

In the English Premier League it’s ‘Super Sunday’ with the real saucy bangers.

There is a London derby of Hammers versus Chelsea and also Arsenal hosting Everton. There should be goals from both teams in these games, with Chelsea and Gunners coming out tops.

Another cracker game is Cardiff versus Man City and this should be a good game after the loss Man City suffered midweek. Bank on City winning here with both teams to score at 16/10. Other teams to boost your bets should be Liverpool 3/10, Chelsea at 5/10 with Man United and Leicester at 6/10 each.
