London – Michael Phelps is having more fun at what he insists will be his final Olympics.

Several hundred media packed the largest conference room at the Main Press Centre on Thursday for Phelps' last big news conference before the start of the swimming competition in London.

When Phelps was in Beijing in 2008, he says he was “trying to conquer everything.” Now, even though he's swimming just one fewer event than his eight in China, Phelps says there's a whole different vibe to these games.

The other day, Phelps got a kick out of strolling through the Olympic Village and noticing three Russian female athletes - all of them taller than the 6-foot-4-inch swimmer. As he says, “Geez, I thought I was tall.” – Sapa-AP
