Sydney - Eddie Jones will replace Rod Macqueen in September as coach of Australia's world champion rugby team, the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) announced on Friday.

Jones, who coached the ACT Brumbies to victory in last weekend's Super 12 final, will take over the reins when Macqueen retires after this year's Tri-Nations series.

The ARU also announced Bob Tuckey had been appointed as the new ARU chairman following the resignation of David Clarke. - Reuters
