TOKYO – Japan coach Jamie Joseph has replaced injured back Lomano Lemeki with Ryohei Yamanaka in an otherwise unchanged side to face New Zealand in Tokyo on Saturday.
Michael Leitch captains the team and is one of four New Zealand-born players in the Japanese starting 15.
Lemeki drops out after playing against a World XV in Osaka on Oct 26.
Yamanaka comes in at fullback.
Meanwhile, Joseph's counterpart at the All Blacks Steve Hansen named a largely second-string side with Luke Whitelock coming in to captain the New Zealanders for this weekend's test.
