Lions make changes for Kings

Johannesburg – Golden Lions head coach Johan Ackermann has been forced to make several changes to his Currie Cup side for Saturday's match against the EP Kings in Port Elizabeth.

Captain Warren Whiteley, who was drafted into the Springbok squad, will be replaced by Willie Britz, who moves up from the bench. Martin Muller will provide cover off the wood.

Robbie Coetzee withdrew from the side after suffering a neck spasm and is replaced by Willie Wepener on the bench.

Lions team: Ruan Combrinck, Lionel Mapoe, Stokkies Hanekom, Alwyn Hollenbach, Courtnall Skosan, Andries Coetzee, Ross Cronje, Willie Britz, Warwick Tecklenburg, Jaco Kriel, Franco Mostert, MB Lusaseni, Ruan Dreyer, Armand van der Merwe, Schalk van der Merwe.

Replacements: Willie Wpener, Jacques van Rooyen, Martin Muller, Derick Minnie, Kwagga Smith, Ricky Schroeder, Howard Mnisi. – Sapa
