Tian Meyer to captain Cheetahs against Glasgow

BLOEMFONTEIN – Tian Meyer will skipper the Cheetahs in their Pro14 match against Glasgow in Bloemfontein on Saturday.

The 29-year-old scrumhalf has been handed the captaincy in the absence of Oupa Mohoje, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the season with a knee injury. Meyer also slots into the number nine role ahead of Shaun Venter who drops to the bench.

The Cheetahs will be aiming for the first win of the season after losing their opening two encounters away from home.
