HONG KONG – The Springbok Sevens team's Selvyn Davids was the only South African included in World Rugby's dream team which was selected after the HSBC Hong Kong Sevens this weekend.

Davids was also named player of the tournament following the Cup Final between winners Fiji and Kenya on Sunday.

Two Kenyans also made it - Willy Ambaka and Oscar Ouma, the team's skipper.

The tournament was won by Fiji, who beat Kenya 24-12 in Sunday's final.

The dream team, unsurprisingly, has four Fijians, Kalione Nasoko, Semi Kunatani, Eroni Sau and Amenoni Nasilasila, who deservedly took home the Player of the Final award.

Davids also made the list of Top Tries scored (seven tries each) over the three-day tournament, together with teammate Muller du Plessis.

The next round of the world series takes place in Singapore on April 28-29

South Africa was drawn in Pool C for the Singapore tournament where they will face Argentina, Canada and Samoa.
