Johannesburg – Scrumhalf Ruan Snyman has joined French club Racing Metro, the Blue Bulls Company announced on Monday.

Snyman was released immediately after a transfer fee was paid and will be available to play for the club as soon as selected.

“Ruan had a contract till October 2013 and he could join Racing only if he was available immediately. We decided not to stand in his way and accepted the request and transfer fee involved,” Bulls high performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg said in a statement.

“There are no hard feelings involved here and we wish Ruan all the best in France.

“He has been an honest, hard-working professional who served the Blue Bulls with honour and distinction.” – Sapa
