Springbok coach Heyneke Meyer on Wednesday made one change to the run-on side that will face England in the second Test at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Sharks fullback Patrick Lambie will receive a starting berth in place of Zane Kirchner, who injured his knee late in the first half of the first Test in Durban last weekend.

On the bench, Werner Kruger replaces the injured Coenie Oosthuizen while Bjorn Basson could make an appearance off the bench for Lambie.

Springbok team: Patrick Lambie, JP Pietersen, Jean de Villiers (captain), Frans Steyn, Bryan Habana, Morne Steyn, Francois Hougaard, Pierre Spies, Willem Alberts, Marcell Coetzee, Juandre Kruger, Eben Etzebeth, Jannie du Plessis, Bismarck du Plessis, Tendai Mtawarira.
