DURBAN – The whirlwind of a series win over England is now behind us, but the rugby has not come to an end as those in green switch back to shades of blue, black and red for the remainder of Super Rugby.

There will be a bit of adjusting, turning brothers at war back to provincial foes, remembering the plans and procedures that were put in place back in February, but for the Sharks anyway, this June break may well have buoyed them for what remains.

It has been a long time since there has been such a large Sharks contingent in a Bok squad, more so, those who were selected covered themselves in glory in many respects.

This will add a lot of confidence to these players who may havebeen feeling a little flat from a long race already run.

Originally, Dan du Preez, Jean-Luc du Preez, Thomas du Toit, Beast Mtawarira, Chiliboy Rappelle, Akker van der Merwe, Lukhanyo Am, Curwin Bosch, Robert du Preez, Andre Esterhuizen, Makazole Mapimpi, Sbu Nkosi and Cam Wright were all included.

That could be almost a starting Sharks team to face the Lions this weekend in Durban. It looks formidable.
