CAPE TOWN – Stormers loosehead prop JC Janse van Rensburg will join French Top 14 side Grenoble at the end of the Super Rugby season.

Janse van Rensburg joined the Stormers ahead of the 2016 season, after spending three years with French club Bayonne.

The experienced, former Lions front-rower, who has amassed 92 Super Rugby caps over his career, 37 of those for the Stormers, said that he will cherish the memories he has made at Newlands.

“It has been a privilege to work with some top players and coaches over the last three years and I am grateful for the opportunity to have been able to call Newlands home,” he said.

Western Province director of rugby Gert Smal praised the 32-year-old for his contribution to Stormers and WP rugby over the past three years.

“Having players with the work ethic and experience that JC brings is invaluable and he played a key role for us over the last three years. I want to wish him well for the last phase of his career and beyond,” he said.
