PORT ELIZABETH – Coach Deon Davids has made five changes to his Southern Kings side that will return to Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for their Pro14 clash against Cardiff Blues on Saturday.

The Kings lost 39-22 to Munster at Outeniqua Park in George last time out – the first time the picturesque Garden Route city had hosted an international franchise fixture – but they are back in Port Elizabeth for the visit of the Blues this weekend.

Davids has opted for five alterations, with two of those coming in the back-line – Luzuko Vulindlu, who has already scored four Guinness Pro14 tries this season, getting the nod at outside centre ahead of Jacques Nel, while Ntabeni Dukisa will look to pull the strings at flyhalf in place of Martin du Toit.

The three pack changes see Rossouw De Klerk coming in at tighthead prop, Lubabalo Mtyanda starting in the second row and Lusanda Badiyana at blindside flanker, with Pieter Scholtz, Stephan Greeff and Andisa Ntsila dropping out.

Against the Blues, the Kings will be seeking a second victory of their inaugural Guinness Pro14 season to add to the 45-13 home triumph against the Dragons in round 17.

Southern Kings team: 15 Masixole Banda, 14 Michael Makase, 13 Berton Klaasen, 12 Luzuko Vulindlu, 11 Yaw Penxe, 10 Ntabeni Dukisa, 9 Godlen Masimla, 8 Ruaan Lerm, 7 Martinus Burger, 6 Lusanda Badiyana, 5 Lubabalo Mtyanda, 4 Bobby de Wee, 3 Rossouw de Klerk, 2 Stephan Coetzee, 1 Schalk Ferreira (captain).
