London - Two Jordanian Paralympic power-lifters and a trainer have been granted bail after being accused of sexual assault in Northern Ireland.

The three were arrested Monday northwest of Belfast where Jordan's squad is one of several national teams training before the Paralympic Games. The games are from August 29 to September 9.

Two wheelchair-using power-lifters - one a bronze medal winner at the 2008 Beijing Games - and a trainer appeared at Coleraine Magistrates' Court on Wednesday facing charges including sexual assault and voyeurism.

All three were released on bail after a representative of the Jordanian government promised to bring them back to court October 18. - Sapa-AP
