Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis was frustrated with her team’s attacking play in the first game against Chile, and has run the changes for the second clash in Santiago on Tuesday night (Wednesday morning SA time).

Ellis added three new names to the starting XI for the second game, after Banyana lost the opener 2-1 on Saturday night.

Thembi Kgatlana is back in the mix in midfield and will operate on the one wing, with Refiloe Jane moving to the other wing.

Kholosa Biyana will form a partnership with Rachel Sebati in the centre.

With Jermaine Seoposenwe unavailable after receiving a red card in the first match, Ellis has reintroduced Linda Motlhalo upfront.

Motlhalo was the leading goal-scorer in the Cosafa Women’s Championship in Port Elizabeth recently, where she netted four times – including a hat trick against Malawi.

She will have Melinda Kgadiete for company in the front line, and Ellis will hope that the duo can finish the chances created by the likes of Jane, who also has an eye for goal.

Jane scored both goals in the 2-1 Cosafa final win over Cameroon.

The second Chile match kicks off at 10pm in Santiago tonight (3am Wednesday SA time).
