POLOKWANE – Tickets for tonight’s 7pm kickoff between Bafana Bafana and Senegal sold out just over two hours ago, and a capacity crowd is expected here at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Independent Media received confirmation from the venue management that 35 000 tickets, plus 11 500 complimentary tickets meant that the host will fully enjoy home advantage in their must-win World Cup qualifier in just a few minutes.

There were still a few empty seats prior to kickoff, but there were scores of supporters making their way to the stadium on foot outside.

Bafana will then travel to Dakar to face Senegal again on Tuesday – the two back-to-back wins guaranteeing them a place at next year’s World Cup in Russia.
