JOHANNESBURG - South Africa will face Lesotho in the Cosafa Under20 Youth Championships final at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe, Zambia, on Saturday.

Amajita head coach, Thabo Senong believes that playing Lesotho will not be easy at all and it is important for his players to stay humble and respect the game if they are to lift the trophy.

“We have emphasised to the players that they need to stay humble and respect the game of football, otherwise it will humble you,” said Senong

“We cannot count our chickens before they hatch and be arrogant about who we are facing. Yes we have played Lesotho in many encounters in the past but tomorrow will be a whole new ball game. It is a cup final and anything can happen” said Senong.

The suspended pair Khulekani Kubheka and captain Thendo Mukumela will be available for selection after serving their one match suspension, while George Matlou will not be eligible to play following his red card in the semi-finals.

Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Lyle Foster are awaiting medical results to see if they will be fit to play.
