Johannesburg - Three South Africans have made it onto the Women's Africa Cup of Nations team of the tournament it was announced on Sunday.

Banyana Banyana finished fourth in the tournament following their 1-0 loss to Ghana in the bronze medal match on Friday.

Nigeria beat out hosts Cameroon 1-0 to claim top honours on Saturday.

Defender Janine van Wyk, Midfielder Jermaine Seoposenwe and defender Nothando Vilakazi all made it onto the team.
