JOHANNESBURG – Chippa United will look to cause another major upset on Sunday in their clash with Kaizer Chiefs at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in the Telkom Knockout quarter-finals.

The Chilli Boys stunned African champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Sunday to book a place in the last eight.

The Premier Soccer League confirmed the dates and venues for the quarter-finals on Monday.

Amakhosi will return to Port Elizabeth, the sight of their loss in the MTN8 final.

That was coach Steve Komphela’s first final with Amakhosi, months into his tenure after replacing coach Stuart Baxter two years ago.

That night ended in disappointment for Amakhosi, just like the Telkom Knockout final did a couple of months later against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Those two finals remain the club’s best performance in knockout competitions under Komphela.

He is looking to change that in the Telkom Knockout, having booked their place in the last eight with an emphatic win over AmaZulu.

A day before Chiefs take on the Chilli Boys, three other matches will take place. Orlando Pirates will host Polokwane City on Saturday at 8.15pm, while Bidvest Wits take on Baroka FC at Bidvest Stadium at the same time.

Earlier in the day, Bloemfontein Celtic will visit Platinum Stars at Royal Bafokeng Sport Palace.
