The Football Association have received a dossier of evidence accusing Malky Mackay and Iain Moody of racism, sexism and homophobia in a shocking series of text messages sent during their time together at Cardiff City.
Mackay appeared to be on the verge of being reunited with Moody at Crystal Palace yesterday but letters submitted to the FA by Cardiff’s lawyers seem to have persuaded the Premier League club to look elsewhere for a new manager.
After months of investigation, Sportsmail can reveal the details of the letters sent to the FA, outlining explicit and offensive texts that were discovered after a dawn raid on the south London home of Moody, the former head of recruitment at Cardiff and now sporting director at Palace.
Last summer, Cardiff signed South Korean midfielder Kim Bo-kyung, but when Moody informed Mackay on July 12 that ‘five of the b******s including the player’ are arriving for talks, the reply from Mackay’s phone was: ‘Fkn chinkys.’
Other text messages discovered contained racist as well as homophobic and sexist remarks.– Daily Mail
