I'm fine, says Arsenal boss Arteta after positive coronavirus test
CAPE TOWN – Mikel Arteta has reassured Arsenal fans that he is fine after testing positive for the coronavirus during the week.
Arteta, along with Chelsea winder Callum Hudson Adoi tested positive for the virus, promting the Premier League to suspend the season until April.
“Thanks for your words and support. Feeling better already,” Arteta said on Twitter on Saturday.
“We’re all facing a huge & unprecedented challenge. Everyone’s health is all that matters right now.
“Protect each other by following the guidelines & we’ll come through this together. Well done PL for making the right decisions,” said the Spaniard.
On Friday, the club said: “The health of our people and the wider public is our priority and that is where our focus is.
